Took this video about 1.5 miles into their breaking out the new trail and after they had traveled 5 miles on our regular route. You can see what power they have and how deep the snow is when Griffin passes by on the right. Its hard to tell that its all unbroken seeing it from the sled view but if you look real close you can see Juno bounding through the drifts ahead. Id say its about chest deep on my dogs, probably shoulder deep on a normal sled dog...
Right after this was taken their power started to drain a little bit. With my help we pushed the trail through for the full 2.5 miles but had to turn back just shy of joining it up with another trail we had broken out earlier this season since the light was fading.
