Cold Remains...

Still cold, -43 today... warmed up a bit during the day but not enough to allow the dogs a break at their houses. They love to load up when the chill bites like this so its nice to see they are grateful to be warm. Still, I wish I could give them more...

It will probably get to -45 tonight or colder...

The pups are on their last rotation this evening. The 'little three' are passed out on my office floor. The bigger they get the smaller everything seems to be.

Cali is still the smallest and Hermes has surprised me. Hes getting soooo tall! He reminds me of Iris in so many ways... painful memories of loss flood through my mind when I hold him. I know he doesn't understand why I cry but thats okay. Hes helping me heal...

Chronos is hanging in there very well with his health and remains slower than the rest, hes much more content to stay calm and rest most of the day. Hermes and Cali on the other hand are showing signs of speed. Already they chase each other around the yard making excellent time. Boreas and Thani do the same but their size slows them down quite a bit.

What ever they grow up to be will be a blessing. Its been wonderful having them around and will be even more wonderful once they are fully matured adults.

The puppy years have been fun but its the more mature moments I crave. Once they are six months or so we will really have our fun, training, free running, continuing their everyday lessons into adulthood. So many exciting futures lay ahead for us all...
