Free Run!!

Made some time to take the older dogs out for some fun in the fields and brought the pups and Ajax along as well. Everyone had a BLAST!

It was nice to see the older dogs get some time to explore and have fun, though it was very humbling to see their age showing through.

Spock is having a bit of soreness this morning from chasing all the geese and Aquila was really working her ankle. I saw it getting weaker the longer we were out there so it was good we had planned a short trip this first time out. By the time we came home it was looking much better...

I'm trying not to be too worried about these older guys but I will be watching to make sure this extra fun time isnt going to be too damaging for them.

Mercury held up really well and had no problem. He is a bit older than Aquila, maybe 10 years now, but I'm not sure since we didn't rescued him as a pup.

Chronos did really well and worked well with his limited stamina due to his disability. I had to pull him aside at the start to make him catch his breath but the rest of the walk he figured it out and stuck close even when his siblings were tearing up the field.
