Plugging Away...

Tomorrow is the start of summer camp for some of our dogs here. We will be taking them down to Kantishna in Denali park so they can spend the summer doing mushing demonstrations for tourists. Dogs have been going down there for years and always come back with fantastic results, fat bellies and strong muscles. The ones going this year are Salmon, Reba, Iggy and the two dogs from my mothers kennel.

Id love to send more for the experience but I know these three will work best in that type of atmosphere, working hard for their team and gain some extra valuable training in the process.

James and I are really looking forward to the drive down. Not many people get the opportunity to drive that deep into Denali park especially in their own vehicle. Most have to take tour buses, deal with cramped quarters and someone else's schedule. As long as the roads hold well we should have a great trip with plenty of time to take photos of wildlife, look around and enjoy the drive in.
