I'm getting my Sundays back again, hopefully soon will have my Saturdays back as well. Work has kept me hopelessly tied up throughout the weekends all summer but finally I'm seeing a bit more freedom to wrap up necessary things before winter comes in full.The leaves are steadily turning yellow and some have already fallen. Its getting to be that time to start thinking of training and setting up plans for the team.
The dog box has been on my mind and is the first to get my attention. Many names to be added to it with the new pups fully in the team and Ive needed to add other names Ive been putting off due to even more time constraints.
For a solid year I haven't had the courage to paint out Iris' name from her box, and now Aquila's needed to go as well. Its a hard realization going through these final steps. First the garden, harness hung on the wall, name painted off the dog truck then painted again on the back for their memorial.
Putting both Iris and Aquila's names on the back may have to wait until I'm a bit more stable. I had to practically close my eyes to wipe their names off the truck so putting them on the back will take a bit more effort. Its something I'm still not ready to face right now...
But on the brighter side of things the pups are really filling out and Thani is looking so regal. Its the future that I need to stay focused on and keep moving forward. I have a tendency to fall back to the past and dwell there, often with less than desirable results. Its not healthy to stay in one place for any length of time... I have to realize that and take everything that comes my way as a valuable life lesson full with helpful tips and plans to shape me into a better person.
