Sea of Shavings

The rain came back hard, again... today was the only clear sky Ive seen in a looong time. The dog yard was getting so bad I had to resort to hauling shavings from Northland Wood. This was my first time working with that company (even though they have been here forever) and I have to say that they are wonderful people and it was so AWESOME when the big loader came to dump a HUGE load of shavings in the back of James' truck.

I had to make two full runs to get ahead of the muck. Its still not to the point where I'm completely happy with it but its darn close. I swear I must have used half a truck load just on Remus' area. His is a bit lower so he seems to get a lot of the water and his constant motion doesn't help much. Hes always turning up the ground...

Thani, bigger than his father, tries to play with his old man. Juno meanwhile hangs back and eggs everyone on.

I am so fascinated by this boy. He has Griffin's complete personality, is so loving (aren't they all) and such a beauty of a pup.

Chronos spins through his new shavings.
Everyone was in high spirits even through the rain but I saw an even higher level of elation when I brought a solution to our wetness problem. My mood greatly improved as well and it was again a complete joy to attend to dog yard chores and relax in my favorite place.

"I'm this many..."
Thani gets ready for his upcoming birthday next month... hard to believe they will be a year old in a few weeks.
