Much Needed Time...

Took some wonderful time for myself today, no stress, no deadlines just me and James... feels really, really good and so desperately needed.

Ive been so swamped with work, the hardships of winter, being on the trail, not being on the trail, shows, orders, commissions... you name it. Ive either been working on it or working on it in my sleep. Going full force like that can break a person down really, really fast. If I let it go on too long its starts seeping into my work with very bad results.

So I was EXTREMELY happy to get back to my Mercury piece Ive been working on and off on for way too many years. Its so close to being done but other people have needed their work done as well so he keeps getting pushed back.

I am pleased with what I have been able to work in with the little bit of time spent during my relaxation and will be more than pleased to finally have this complete... I really hate to put it away to get back to work on Monday but that's the way things are right now.

Maybe next weekend I can find the excuse to pull him out again... for now I am very pleased with what I was able to do and I'm ecstatic to see that hes getting so close to completion!
