Whats on the Menu?

The dogs continue to be spoiled with soup... tonight they had turkey skin, bacon fat and some other fat substance that smelled a bit like bar-b-q and a bit like walking into a Chili's restaurant!

Rarely a bowl was left unclean. Ichabod and Griffin seemed to want to save theirs for later but the rest gobbled it down in no time. Boreas had way too much fun bobbing for skins and made a real mess. Hes due for a water bucket on the side of his house rather than using his food bowl. Almost half of the kennel has the water buckets now but they are a bit spendy so its been an ongoing project.

The weather has certainly improved but unfortunately my schedule has not. I would have liked to have been much more productive today but a severe headache plagued me most of the time and make it almost impossible to think, much less get any work done. If its not one thing its another...

I was hoping to work through the evening and make up some time but everything I tried to work on made my head hurt. The only thing that was soothing was sculpting. I really didn't expect that but the results of tonight's work was very encouraging. I have to fix a few of the bugs on the piece before I can say its complete but its well on the way to being part 2 of the Life of a Sled Dog series.

And the other nice thing is that my prototype arrived from a new company I'm trying out to reproduce my work (see photo). I'm really excited to get to work on earrings and other fancy things I have in mind but time is short so these little projects have to be fit in where they can. This first work will be on hair clips while the next ones will be smaller and in a different material, perhaps bamboo, light enough for necklaces. There are many new things I want to try out but I cant say what they are just yet... I have to keep the ideas quiet until I'm sure everything will come together how I want them to.

So I guess even though today felt totally unproductive at least a few things went right. Now if I can just figure out what is still wrong with my GPS and get that going I will be one happy camper!!
