Just had another visit tonight with a potential adopter and it looks like all three pups are spoken for. They will all get to live in wonderful homes in working recreational teams and the best part is that I know both the mushers so I will be able to keep in touch and see what fine adults they will grow into. This is very great news!
Its strange how some of these guys can be here for a year or more and others just fit in right away into the perfect home. I never know how things will turn out but when they do I am extremely pleased with the outcome.
At one time I had thought of giving up this foster work since it takes a lot of effort but its these special cases that keep me plugging along knowing that everything works out for the absolute best and that I play a crucial role in the lives of these dogs. To say this is a rewarding job is quite the understatement!
