Things are coming together again, as they always do. Downsides never last long, even though it feels that way some times. :)
The truck just came back from the mechanics and it looks like the problem was only a loose wire. Glad it was something simple, but it seems silly for it to be that easy. We are not out of the woods until I test it out tonight and make sure its going to start then we can be 100% sure. *fingers crossed*
In the meantime we are busy figuring out our schedule for the rest of the winter, making plans and possibly expecting PUPPIES!!
I would like to introduce you to a female named Moxi who is not related to our bloodline and will continue to increase the genetic diversity of our sled dogs. She is an AWESOME working dog, has a good coat and also has some leader potential. We are very excited to see how these pups are going to do with help of Thani's blood to the gene pool!
Thani is by far the best sled dog we have had at our kennel EVER and his siblings are also excellent stand outs. Boreas is extremely attentive, Hermes is a natural intuitive leader (the best Ive ever had) and Calypso is a very hard worker with leader potential also. Chronos is extremely special and would have been an amazing sled dog if not for his heart condition. But what he lacks in the working department he makes up with sweet cuteness. He is the caretaker and the remover of stress to us all. He seems to have a natural talent of healing and getting everyone back to the place of well being when we are out of alignment.
Moxi lives at another kennel so we will have to wait for updates from her owner as they come in. The latest news is that her appetite is WAY up and her heat cycle has ended earlier than normal, which may indicate that she is focusing on giving all her nutrients to the new babies growing inside her!
Keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy litter of beautiful babies!!
