All future fine art commission orders are on hold so I can have more time to do personal art for myself. Over the years Ive put myself in a position where Ive sold away far too much of my art to other people and left none for myself.
There are still other jobs to do, other projects to complete but I will be shifting my focus closer to a higher aspect of personal creativity in the years to come.
This is where I think my life needs to go and along with all the website changes, our new land in Talkeetna and our sled dog rescue project I will still be giving so much of myself away which is why it is so important that I save time to build up my own personal reserves so I can keep doing all the things that I feel so strongly about in this life.
And so I give you the first stage of color preview of my latest work (pardon the marginal quality of the photo, this is far too large to get on my scanner). This is a piece honoring both Ursa Minor and Iris, bonded in life and in death through the intense memories I have of them and will never forget. They each brought to me such a unique outlook on life, both polar opposites of each other but both still so dearly loved.
This will not be shown at the Sled Dog Symposium show this year but I may carry them along to our next showing. I would like to have a bit more complete before introducing them to the public...
