
I wonder if spring will ever come or if we will coast our way back into winter. That would be interesting! Especially with the fuel prices going up so high... I welcome the idea of getting back on the sled but having to heat the house again so soon is not a nice thing to think about.
The dogs are still in high spirits and don't seem to mind the consistent mud and puddles. I am amazed at how happy they are all the time.

A new foster arrived today. His name is Don and I believe he is the same dog from the yard that Salmon came from. I put them side by side in the yard for a few hours before moving him to the border pen. They both seemed very interested in each other, almost tender in a way.
Hes very gentle and very, very sweet. I'm excited to try him in the team as soon as the trails dry up and also to work with him more on a day to day basis. I think he has great potential to be a pet if a working home doesn't open up for him.
