My Team in the News

News footage from Channel 11, our local station, about the Mush for Kids event. Can you guess which one is my team? Juno makes it pretty obvious!! : )

Juno is in single lead, Griffin is in swing with pup Calypso behind him and Remus and Thani in wheel.

The musher driving the team behind me is Cody. He and Paige adopted Mocha (previously named Momma) and Peter to give them a fabulous working home. Those dogs were our first pair of fosters through the Fairbanks Animal Shelter Foster Program and our first foster litter raised on site. Mocha is the small one running in his team in wheel.

At the end of the clip are good friends Dave and Joanne Klumb owners of Laughing Husky Dog Sleds (www.laughinghusky.com), the best sleds you can buy! The one I was driving kids around for the event is a Klumb toboggan. Dave and Joanne were giving kids a one dog sledding experience that day.
