The one good thing about having to stay home is that I have an excuse to spend more one on one time with the dogs. My plan for this winter was for the retirees to have exclusive office time while the ones hard at work (or hard at play) on the trail would have work time for their mental stimulation.
So far this arrangement is working out really, really well but I do so miss having office time with the other younger dogs. The extra work days that Im forced to stay at home offers the younger ones some time in and a bit of attention from me when I take quick breaks from work.
Griffin is having his time in today and its been a total delight to have his big gentle nose move my arm just enough to get my attention. Hes like my living Buddha, calm and spreading mental healing when ever hes around...
