Solution to Artist Block

Lately Ive been struggling through an artistic block... things seem to get in the way, in my head and emotions catch up after a time whether I like it or not. Having the new pups in the team certainly helps, the snow on the trail and watching mile after mile disappear under my runners.

The other thing that has helped is this new venture that Ive felt a calling to for some time. Its no surprise really as my dad is, and has been, a sculpture for some time. I was wondering when the mood would strike. Its been years an years since I played around with anything in 3D but, like riding a bike, if its in your blood it never leaves you...

So here is a sneak peek into Lead Dog Graphics new venture. This our first original piece to be cast into a mold in about a month. Castings of this piece will be available for purchase shortly after. Be sure to look for them at our website www.LeadDogGraphics.com, at our Fairbanks retailers and at the Farmers Market this year.

Many different colors will be available as new materials are worked with and tested. This will be the first type of this style... I am planning on working up others to join in this series so be sure to check back with us later on for updates.
