We are very anxious for all that beautiful white stuff to cover the ground but mother nature will decide exactly when we can play. Until then we will keep working here at the kennel...
So here I sit at the computer with Zephyr by my side, his nose resting on my arm as I type, his body stretched out the entire length of the couch completely at peace.
He has been an inside dog for quite a few days now. He is definitely a bed hog and settling in to spoiled life quite well. We were planning on having him outside permanently but, as the dog yard does, things changed so we evolved to meet that change and have enjoyed the process very much.
We have been very fortunate to have Tanja Hymel www.t-h-art.com come out to the kennel on a regular basis to get updated photos of these fosters and our regular kennel dogs. Her talent with the camera is awesome and its been so great to get a record of these dogs especially with so many successful adoptions taking place this year. Its all we can do to keep up with it all! :)
We have also been so very fortunate to have Leah continue to come out to the kennel to help and without Serenity's help on the ground doing basic obedience with these guys we wouldn't be able to know what is going on in their heads. Ive been so wrapped up in basic kennel maintenance and paperwork that having this extra help has been a godsend. We wouldn't be able to continue and be so successful without the hard work of others.
And a huge continued thanks to James, James L and Mike for their continued work and support. There is so much fun to be had and we are just entering the best time of year where ALL our hard work is going to pay off.
