It was a wonderful read and nice to see our 'neighbors' are so great with their dogs. Makes me wonder if we should have moved to Whitehorse? NA! Alaska will always be deep in my blood, though when I was driving up here in '95 it was either Alaska or Canada.
Alaska won out simply because it was easier for me to get a job here since I was already a US citizen and I havent regreted it since!!
Another busy day today. We have another tour group scheduled and next week we have a mushing party to put on for the military! The mushing party will be fun, lots of dog sled rides and weve commited to a two hour time slot. Juno will be key in making sure everything goes smoothly and everyone will get even more crowd experience.
I am simply amazed at how far Thani has come along in greeting visitors. Just yesterday our friend from New Zealand came by for a visit to join us on a dog sled run. Thani was very sweet in greeting her and even jumped up for a gentle sniff at her face. This is a long way from how he was months ago where his meeting of new people averaged one every three months!
Chronos is also coming along well and has been a star since the day he hit the ground. He is such a love and delights in meeting many, many new people. Its too bad we cant take him out for runs with us but we may try to work him in to be a people greeter in the future.
