Musher Poll

I was just thinking about sleds and things when working on our new sled today. Putting a drag pad on is a pain in the butt but a critical piece of equipment to have handy on any sled. Looking at the old and busted snow machine track I cut the piece from I was a little frustrated to have to add rusted up old rubber to this fine work of art, but some times the old and busted stuff works the best, or at least works for now...

So I thought I would give the ol' poll a spin and see what is old and 'old and busted' on your sled. And if you don't own a sled, give your imagination a try. What do you think would take a heavy beating out on the Alaskan trail?
